České Budějovice: Přemysl Otakar II Square
České Budějovice, an old royal city founded in 12th century, is located at the southern part of the Czech Republic, about 160 km far from Prague, above the river Vltava (Moldau). The town is known especially for its world-known trademark "Budweiser beer" and for international agricultural exhibitions with many-year tradition. The population of the city counts for 100.000 people.
In the picture you can see the main square named after the foundator of the city (Přemysl Otakar II.) with the "Black Tower", dominant of the city of České Budějovice.
